A little Hump Day reading...

Good morning! Hope all is going well. Couple of things to help "Your day go smoothly." Or at least get a couple of chuckles.

1)My ex-girlfriend is really dedicated to her work.

2)That was during the Kentucky game the other night, these need to be on the stands in Wal-Mart ASAP.

3)I can't help but look at Status Updates FB and see all those complaining about the new look of FB and that it will ruin it. This may give you some ammo to start a little friendly jarring with said complainers. This article summarized says this, "You're not as smart as the guy who started FB so stop criticizing the new look." Full disclosure, I'm not particularly fond of the new look, but this article at least helps me understand what they are going for.

4)And finally, I wish I had found this when it was still being written, worth a look when you have time to waste.

Random Thoughts

Went to Oaklawn this weekend and didn't cash a freakin ticket! Rachel cashed on the 9th Race with 'French Kiss' and again on the 10th race with 'Messy Marvin'

Clearly she is a superior horse picker than I am and UK beat Arkansas for the 8th consecutive time in either Football or Basketball. All since we've been together. Great!

Forgot the camera this weekend so no good pics from it.

And now I like the show Big Love. I have avoided watching it bc it makes me uncomfortable, but after 2 years of being pestered by my wife to watch it I have succumbed. I realize I like it bc it makes me uncomfortable, I'm nervous and on the edge of my seat the entire time. every character is undescribably odd. I've never seen anything like it and now I'm hooked. In case you don't watch it, it is about polygamist Mormans.

Arkansas Baseball opening day is this Friday, I plan on making a trip there in either 2 or 4 weeks to get a little left field Baum Squad love.

Rachel has been accepted to TU grad school, so I should have about 5 more years of work and then be able to retire to the finer things while she covers the bill. SWEET!

Up to Speed

Well since my last post the Razorback bball team has gone in the

Going 0-3 to start conference play. Losses to Mrssissippi State, Ole Mrss and Florida. Might be too much of a hill to climb to get back in the hunt, but we are off until Saturday and get Auburn at home. Its a must win. My Wife and I attended the MSU game and now she is on an "Arkansas Game Watch List" They may not allow us to renew our season tickets because she hasn't been to game, in an sport, that they won since September of 2007.

Has been crowned King of the World, and

He was inagaurated President of the United States of America.

"That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet."

Ouch, that's not very good.

The man has some serious work ahead of him and hopefully he can come through. Talk about pressure and hype!? Its almost like he's kin to Tim Tebow or something. I feel like he is in a position where he could define the next century of the USA with enormous obstacles in front of him and unyeilding hope behind him.

Maybe he should discuss some the issues with

She's been crowned Miss World. Kseniya Sukhinova from Russia. Her and Tim could have good looking kids don't you think.

And....

Arizona v Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl? What in the hell is that all about? Arizona? Arizona!? Cmon now. The line opened at 7 and are now at 6.5 I was thinking more along the lines of 9.

BREAKING NEWS.........

Rudell Crim just committed to the Hogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God this is a good class. No bullshit, I think we have a shot at winning the SEC West next year. Auburn, Mrs State will struggle with new coaches. LSU stills employs Less Miles, Ole Mrs will swoon with Nutt there and Bama can't get consistant play like this year, surely. College Football season is now 7 months away! Oh joy, to be good again.

Go Hogs!

Good Game!

Well, I was pretty off on my prediction of 41-28, but in my defense if you had bet that parlay you would've won. The spread was 5 and the over/under was 70, so Florida covered and the under hit.

That said OU definitely belonged in the game and with a few bounces going their way they could've won it.

I bet a big OU fan lunch on the game and just had a delicious ribeye from Kilkenny's. Thanks Tim Tebow! He is amazing, I owe a lunch to him. I don't have anything against him, but I can't decide what's worse; those in the media who swoon over his every step, or those in the media that rip the media for being so gaga over him. It really just goes to show you that you have to make up your own mind and have your own opinions bc the media is just hype one way or another.

So the SEC wins 3 in a row and 5 of 11 BCS Championships, shouldn't there be a playoff with 4 at-large bids and the 4 top SEC teams? I mean really?

The University is Back!

40 minutes of Pel has been released on the NCAA Basketball world and it feels great!

The Hogs have beaten #4 OU and #7 Texas in a week!!!!!!! Fuck the Lil xii. It makes me think that if that's the best they got Arkansas would have about 10 Conference Championships in Football and Basketball over the last 17 years since we joined the SEC, if we had joined the lil xii, and been in the NORTH!!! My god we'd be dominant at everything. Oh well, still pleased with the decision to join THE best conference in the country.

I have forgotten about basketball and how much I get into it and love it. Thank you Pelphrey and may you children be HOGS!!!!!!

Female Advice

This is for you single guys. If you're looking to get a girl and keep her, here are a few tips...

1. When she asks how she looks, shrug and say "Could be better." This will keep her on her toes, and girls love that.

2. Never hold her hand. This can be interpreted as a sign ofweakness. (Or--if she grabs your hand, squeeze hers really reallyhard until she cries. This will impress her by showing her what astrong man youare).

3. Once a month sneak up on her from behind and knock her over. Girlsare like dogs. They love to be roughed up.

4. Call her in the middle of the night to ask if she's sleeping. If She is, say "You better be." Repeat this 4 or 5 times until morning. This will show her you care.

5. When she is upset about something, suggest to her that it might beher fault. This will pave the way for her own personal improvement, and every girl needs some improvement.

6. If you're talking to another girl, make sure she's looking. Whenshe is, stare into her eyes mouth the words "F*ck You" and grab theother girls ass. Girls love competition.

7. Tell her you're taking her out to dinner. drive for miles so shethinks it's going to be really special. Then take her to a burningtire yard. When she starts to get upset tell her you were justkidding and now you're really going to take her to dinner. Then driveher home. When she starts crying and asks why you would do something like thatlean over and whisper very quietly into her ear "...because I can."

8. Introduce her to your friends as "some chick." Women love thosespecial nicknames.

9. Play with her hair. Play with it HARD.

10. Warm her up when she's cold...and not by giving her yourjacket...then you might get cold. Rather, look her in the eye and say"If you don't stop bitching about the cold right now you're going to bebitching about a black eye." The best way to get warm is with fear.

11. Spit often. I hear girls like guys that spit.

12. If you care about her never ever tell her. This will only give herself confidence. Then you can never turn her into the object she deepdown desires to be.

13. Every time you're in her house steal one of the following: shoes, earrings, or anything else that comes in pairs. Only take one of thepair. This way she'll go crazy.

14. Take her out to dinner. Right when she's about to order interruptand say "No, she's not hungry." Make her watch you eat. Girls love aguy that speaks for her.

15. When its raining keep asking her if she's crying. She'll say "No,its just the rain." Ten minutes later turn to her and just scream "Stopcrying you f*cking baby!" Girls like a tough man as I've already stated.

16. Titty twisters...and plenty of them.

17. If you're listening to music and she asks to hear it, tell her no.This way she'll think you're mysterious.

18. Two words...Dutch Oven.

19. Remember her birthday but don't get her anything. Teach her material objects aren't important. The only thing that's important is that shekeeps you happy. And your happiness is the greatest present she can everget.

20. When she gives you a present on your birthday, Christmas, or justwhenever, take it and tell her you love it. Then, next time you knowshe's coming over on a trash day, leave the trash can open and have thepresent visibly sticking out of the can. Girls actually don't like thisone that much but I think it's funny.
